Last updated: 27 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Fashion Architect Co. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website or enrol in the Pattern Making Bootcamp (the "Program").
1.Who we are
The Fashion Architect Co. is a fashion education business founded by Lauren Henry, offering online pattern making training. You can reach us at thefashionarchitect.co@gmail.com or on Instagram at @thefashionarchitect.co.
2.Information we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and any information you share when you enquire, enrol, or take part in the Program (for example, assignments and messages).
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider, Nestuge. We receive confirmation of your purchase but we do not collect or store your full card details.
- Communications: messages you send us, and your participation in our community channels (for example, our Telegram group).
- Website usage and advertising data: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on this website. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit — such as the pages you view and actions you take, like clicking through to enrol. We use this to measure and improve our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
3.How we use your information
- To deliver the Program, including lessons, assignments, feedback, and live sessions.
- To process your enrolment and payment.
- To give you access to course materials and community channels.
- To respond to your enquiries and send you updates about your cohort.
- To improve our content and services.
4.How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the Program:
- With service providers who help us operate, such as our payment provider (Nestuge) and the platforms we use to deliver content and community (for example, Telegram).
- With Meta Platforms, Inc., through the Meta Pixel, to measure our advertising and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- Where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
5.Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Program and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights").
6.Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop sending you marketing messages. To make a request, contact us at thefashionarchitect.co@gmail.com. We handle personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, and will respond to your request within a reasonable time.
7.Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Third-party services and links
Our checkout, content delivery, and community run on third-party services (such as Nestuge and Telegram), each with its own privacy practices. This website may also link to other sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement and retargeting. Meta may use the information it receives in line with its own Data Policy. You can manage or opt out of this kind of advertising through your Meta ad preferences and your browser's cookie settings.
9.Children's privacy
The Program is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
11.Contact us
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at thefashionarchitect.co@gmail.com or @thefashionarchitect.co.
